New Role: Digital PR & Content Marketing Executive

About the Role

Anicca Digital is a multi-channel, digital marketing business, supporting several different industry verticals. The Digital PR and Content Marketing Executive has a critical role supporting a busy department within the wider business.

The purpose of the Digital PR & Content Marketing Executive will be to deliver elements of SEO, digital and traditional PR. Alongside an experienced team, you will be supporting several clients creating newsworthy PR & SEO Content services with the objective of delivering a client’s business goals. You will be responsible for creating written content and making the best use of optimization techniques using keywords and phrases in conjunction with the Technical SEO recommendations.

There is a requirement for the support of other departments in the create Content to enhance campaigns.

You will be expected to instigate PR and Content ideas within ideation sessions, also supporting the team with the presentation of PR and/or Content Marketing strategies.

Around 15-20% of the role will be spent providing content marketing support for our own Marketing Department, in line with our marketing plan. We expect content to be engaging and will be required to demonstrate experience at writing blogs, white papers, award entries, supported with an understanding of technical SEO basics. It is expected that you will hold external relationships with UK national & regional journalists to help promote digital PR stories.

Essential Skills

  • Around 18 months experience working within a digital PR and Content Marketing role, preferably within an agency
  • You will have knowledge of a wide range of industries and be familiar with both lead-gen and ecommerce
  • You will be able to work at a fast pace and have an excellent eye for detail. Working with multiple stakeholders in a supportive and positive way to resolve any quality issues identified is required.  
  • You will have experience partaking in internal strategy meetings and supporting teams to promote channel excellence.  

Client & Self-Management Skills

  • You will be expected to keep track of your time through our time management platform and take onus on ensuring you are delivering the correct level of service. 
  • Keep up to **** with any platform changes and look out for these as new opportunities for your clients. 
  • You will have excellent communication and be supportive of the account manager on each account. 
  • Confident and coherent presentation skills with the ability to communicate an idea or strategy to assist the senior team. 
  • You will work under direction of the PR Account Director and report to the Head of Owned and Earned Team 

Soft Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English 
  • Ability to work independently and use your own initiative. 
  • Ability to collaborate and work with multiple stakeholders simultaneously. 
  • Ability to learn fast. 
  • Comfortable with taking on demanding deadlines. 
  • An ambitious self-starter, who is keen to move their career forward in our growing team. 
  • You will be passionate about digital marketing.

Responsibilities

The following expectations are assigned to the role of Digital PR & Content Marketing Account Executive; –

1.Delivery 70% of time will be external clients, 15% Anicca Marketing,

You will be working on new and ongoing projects. For new projects you will be required to, with support, produce content audits and creating content & PR strategies. You will already be trained on elements of SEO. Anicca will provide training if required to build a wide skills base.

Delivery of outreach campaigns.

You will produce various types of optimized content such as FAQ’s, product pages, category pages and blogs using the tone provided by the client.

You will work with journalists and provide PR to educate and promote products and service in both B2C and B2B titles.

You will be trained in using platforms to help with measuring and identifying trends, crisis comms.

2.Housekeeping, administration and team and client time 15%

We set each individual team member the allowance of four days per month, pro rata, to attend internal meetings, plan workloads, complete timesheets, and general housekeeping duties.

We use a time and project software management system whereby you allocate your time to the appropriate client project. Training will be provided.

We are fully transparent in how we operate and expect you to manage your own tasks and time accordingly to achieve our business requirements.
