Last ***** Google sent out an unprecedented number of emails to webmasters informing them of the upcoming “Security Warnings” accompanying some Chrome search results.
In short, this October 2017 Google Chrome will start labeling any site with fillable forms that is not HTTPS, as not secure.
Vertigroup is aware of the coming change and we are actively scanning client websites for any concerns. We’re also taking appropriate measures for any page found not to be secure.
VGI clients should not be concerned, but should you receive an alert from Google referring to a specific page of your website, please bring that to our attention. This way you can be assured that nothing is missed before October’s release of the Google Chrome “version 62” update.
Here are more details surrounding this topic as released this morning.
